Call History on missed calls

I have a user that has ext 1000. They have a Multicall appearance of their own extension on button 2 of their phone.

When the user is on the phone, and they have a 2nd call ring in that is not answered (went to Voicemail), they are not seeing the missed call in the call history.

The set type is 6920 or 6930.

I tested it on my 5340 and get the same results.

They are insisting that their old phone (5212) on MCD 6 and MiVB 7 would give them the call history on their own multicall buttons.

They can insist all they like. Call history is prime line only.

As it turns out...
The built-in app Call history button on the 5300 series - Settings (blue button), then call history, will not show you call history from anything other than the primary main DN.
Same thing with the call history button on the 6900 series phones.

However, if you program a Call History button it will show missed calls from your prime DN, and if you're on the phone on your prime DN, it will shows missed calls from secondary buttons of your prime DN.

It will, however, not show missed calls from other's phones or key-line appearances.

Ther might be a slight misunderstanding with 'missed calls'.
As you stated that the call "(went to Voicemail)" and that makes that a call that was not "missed".
There is no argument on any of your findings.
The Call History Feature (that is the old one with the Superkey or the feature key) and the Call History Application (that is behind the Application Blue/Grey button or the Application feature key with call history) are, though a bit different, very limited.
On the other hand, if you get the MiCollab client you get much more. Would love to have someone explain that away.
