Good morning. Attempting to set up a call handler with an option "if you know your parties 4 digit extension, please dial it at any time". After testing this, dialing a 4 digit extension goes to the same mailbox. What is the proper set up to get this to work? Thanks in advance for the replies.

You need to send it to a directory handler, so when the user presses 1 (for instance) in User Input, they transfer to a preconfigured directory handler.

Thanks Trvlr,

What if there is not a numbered option and you just want them to be able to dial the 4 digit extension without pressing 1, 2 or 3... I want them to hear the main greeting, hear the announcment to dial your 4 digit extension.

Sorry, reading too many things at once and not concentrating on any! ....

Send the digit to Conversation ----> Caller System Transfer. You may need to check your restrictions tables to make sure you are not blocking the outbound dialing

Sounds to me like you might have the "Caller Input" options locked as to specific leading digits. If you use a caller input menu tree, (or even if you don't) be sure not to lock any digit options that match the leading digit of the available extensions.
