Hey, all.

Just wondering if someone's run into this. I've got a personal SIP trunk here in the office, but I've run into an issue where I call forward my extension to my cell phone, it rings my cell, and I pickup, but I have no audio from the other side.

Unfortunately I haven't messed with SIP trunks nearly enough yet, so luckily this is happening only on my own phone so far. But regular calls work perfectly fine. There are plenty of available VCM channels, as well.

If it's something easy/stupid, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks in advance.

IP Office does not officially support Invite without SDP messaging, however;
I had this issue with a SIP Provider of ours, that does not use Stun its uses a session border controller.

If you upgrade to 4.1.12 and ALLOW_REINVITE_NO_SDP in the NO USER source code.

This will be standard on off feature key in 4.2

Also check Re-Invite is checked.

Give it a try and let me know how you get on.

I do not think its this.

I bet he would get the same with Blind transfers too.

Thanks, I was able to screw around with it a bit and got it nailed down. Re-invite was turned off, but I noticed that this primarily only happens when calling from SIP Trunk to SIP Trunk. We've got 4 people in the office, all coming off the same trunk, and that's where the issue was --

So, it was a dumb error on me for the most part, for not testing more thoroughly. But thanks for the input!

I am still having this problem with SIP to SIP blind transfers!! SIP is cool but ISDN still rules!

What typ of phones are you using?

We're using all 5610 IP sets. I am using the normal 5610 firmware, however two of the people I've experienced this problem with are using the VPN Firmware.

Its to do with SDP re-invite messaging and the IP Office not really supporting it.
Upgrade to 4.1.12 and put this in no user field.
ALLOW_REINVITE_NO_SDP

It will be a check box in future relases.
