Hey guys,

New Avaya user here, running CM4.

One of my call centers need the ability to send a call to a cell phone afterhours, and if not answered withing 3 rings, send it back to corporate voicemail.

Here's the catch, they want the ability to change the voicemail number.

I've been able to make this work using a coverag path with a coverage remote on point1, however they cannot remotely change the number of the coverage remote. I've tried creating a phantom station with CFW but call goes right to voicemail and doesn't dial the cell.

Any ideas??

Do they have a schedule for the cell phone numbers, or will it be random?

Have you thought about routing the number to Voice Mail and using the out calling feature, to alert the cell phone that there is a message? Using this method they would be able to change the cell phone (out calling) number.
 
Yes, this was brought up to the business however, they want the ability to speak live to the oncall rep before leaving a voicemail.
 
Well using EC500 would get the call to a cell phone, and still allow it be pickup by the corp voice mail. But I do not know of a way to have the user change the number. That would have to be changed on the phone switch.

If you have agent logins then the one person that is logged in would get the ec500 call.
 
Do you have MM. If so use the find me feature. MM has the ability to have different schedules. Adjust the schedule as part of the routine used at close of business.
