is there a way for a remote user to enable/disable their call forwarding by dialing into the voicemail system?

What type of voicemail system?

With MM - they could enable/disable 'Find Me', which is similar to call-forwarding.

Thanks,
CJH

You could give them your remote access number. Then they could activate/deactivate using the feature access codes.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

If you're using EC500, you can also setup off-pbx-telephone feature-name-extensions. They would call those numbers from a mapped phone line to activate or deactivate a feature.

Alternatively, you could use a telecommuting access extension to activate or deactivate call forwarding. Your remote users would have to know their extension and a passcode would need to be setup on their station.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

looks like i have some studying to do.
