Hi Mitel Experts,
Heres one for you all...
We've currently got one DDI number, acting as a multi-call on seven handsets, all with extensions only (ie, no direct DDI access). When the DDI is dialed, all the handsets ring as we've put multi-call buttons for that number to appear on the 5212 handsets. There is no handset with the DDI as its prime line.
What we want to do is put two buttons on one of the extension handsets to enable the main DDI to forward to another number, from what I can see the only way to do it from the handsets is to do
Step 1 - Call Forward I Am Here to bring the DDI to that handset
Step 2- Forward that Handset out to whichever number we need
Question 1) Is there a better way to do it?
Question 2) Can the Call Forward I am Here and the Forward Number be done in one programmed SpeedCall button, ie, **8 <main DDI extension> immediately followed by *8 <number to divert to>
Thanks
J
