Hello, we are running Callmanager 4.1. I have a CTIPort that is set to Forward All to a 1888 number. When I attempt this, I get a fast busy tone. I have other numbers forwarded to different area codes without a problem. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks!

What's your outside access number? Most people use '9'. Make sure you include that in your CFWD All number. Other than that check you CFWD All CSS and see if it has access to the PT that contains the 1888 RP.

We use 9 as well for the outside access number. That is included. I created a Route Pattern to accommodate for this 1888 number. I put it in the same partition as the CTIPort resides. Should this be sufficient? This is my first time attempting this, so I am not too sure. Thanks!

Check your Calling Search Space on your CFWD All setting on the CTI Port. Make sure it includes the PT for the Route Pattern. CSS's are funny in that I may be able to call you but you can't call me.

Yep it does... I also tried different ones, matching on the CTIPort and the CSS of the CFWDALL, no cigar though... Thanks for your input, any other ideas?

Check the 1888 RP then. If the CSS of the CFWD All can get to the 1888 RP, then the problem lies elsewhere. It could be as simple as your provider doesn't want to see the '1' in front. You'd then have to strip the '91' from the front. Check your 'normal' 888 Toll Free RP and see what it looks like. Copy it, edit it to match the one you're building and put it in the same PT as the one you built. Actually, you shouldn't have to build a special RP if you already have a Toll Free RP. Just have the CSS of the CFWD All to include the PT of the RP.
