Greetings group,
System: V3000 R6_0_49
Request: Users would like to have a button on their 3102 programmed to forward calls to their mobile phones. The scenario is that the normal call coverage is voice-mail, but when the user goes to lunch they can forward their calls to their mobile phones by pressing a button.
Since Do Not Disturb and the button forward to voice-mail button do in effect the same function, this is not an option. In other words, the button which looks like it is forwarding to voice-mail is described in the manual to send inbound calls to the call coverage point after 1 ring. My memory of past NBX OS releases is that it went only to voice-mail. This was the main difference between this button and Do No Disturb. Now they have to same function, other than the one ring.
Is there a way via a speed dial, or some sort of feature mapping to achieve a call forwarding toggle via a single button, while maintaining voice-mail as the default call coverage? Thanks.
