Greetings group,

System: V3000 R6_0_49

Request: Users would like to have a button on their 3102 programmed to forward calls to their mobile phones. The scenario is that the normal call coverage is voice-mail, but when the user goes to lunch they can forward their calls to their mobile phones by pressing a button.

Since Do Not Disturb and the button forward to voice-mail button do in effect the same function, this is not an option. In other words, the button which looks like it is forwarding to voice-mail is described in the manual to send inbound calls to the call coverage point after 1 ring. My memory of past NBX OS releases is that it went only to voice-mail. This was the main difference between this button and Do No Disturb. Now they have to same function, other than the one ring.

Is there a way via a speed dial, or some sort of feature mapping to achieve a call forwarding toggle via a single button, while maintaining voice-mail as the default call coverage? Thanks.

Found a very good work around. Of course this function can be carried out with the CFWD All feature of the LCD display in R6. The first time that you use it you must enter a number to be forwarded to, such as a mobile phone number. From then on this number will populate the field, until you change it. However, you still must press 8 keys to call the function. A better solution is to program a button to be CFWD All, which reduces the key strokes to 2.

it's possible to automate during lunch the cfw towards the mobile phone:

example

TableEntry Create 1 30 8000 4 4 Internal 0 50

/map extension 8000 to route 50

/ Route DefaultDestinationRoute Description
/ ----- ----------------------- -----------
TimedRoute Create 50 90 CFW 8000

/create timed route 50

DestinationRoute Create 8000 Day8000
DestinationRoute Create 7000 Lunch8000

/create route 8000 for day8000 e route 7000 for lunch8000

TimedRouteEntry Create 50 1 Open Open SMTWTFS 8000
TimedRouteEntry Create 50 4 Lunch Lunch SMTWTFS 7000

/manage timed route 50 for open to route 8000 , for lunch to route 7000

DestinationRouteEntry Create 8000 1 8000
DestinationRouteEntry Create 7000 1 *0002

/manage route 8000 go extension 8000 , route 7000 go to extension list *0002 ( trunk )

DestinationRouteOperation Create 7000 1 1 replace 33576726662( mobile phone)

hi

Thanks for the time route donbru01. That would work globally or for DIDs, but I was looking more for a per user solution, that would be used dynamically. I do appreciate the reply though.
