Call Forwarding Assistance

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm trying to program the call forwarding feature. I have my cell # programmed to #99 on my phone. In setting up the button on my phone I run in to problems in one of the last steps

Press Feature and dial 00.
Press the button I'vedecided to program.
Press Feature again and dial 11.
Dial the my extension number.
Dial the 2-Digit speed dial code where you programmed the number to forward to. (This is where I get an Error. I'm only able to enter one digit before I get the error.

Am I missing something??

sounds like you didn't give your extension permission for remote call forwarding, (only on Rel6 and above)

Remote Call Forwarding has the following requirements:
? The Remote Call Forwarding (#322) feature must be enabled for your extension.
? For analog lines and T1 lines without DID, the extension must be the Line Coverage
Extension (#208) for that line.

From Ext 10:
Feature 00, Left Intercom twice,
#322-(your extension number)-1
will allow you RCF on your extension.

Then try what you first posted.

Many thanks! Learned something new from everyone that posted and got the remote forwarding working.

I'm new to the system. Any helpful hints or tips for voice mail I can use while using remote forwarding?
