Has anyone found a true fix for this thread? I am having the same problem of no audio. I am using an ingate siparator which fixes the problem on Mitel but not on the IPO.
I have 7 SIP trunks with Cbeyond on an IPO500 R5.0.15. the trunk to trunk transfer works great! No issues here. I am using it for my IT guy in Mexico to call into the VM Pro in Mexico dial ext 1717 and it goes over the VPN SCN and out the lines here and to my cell phone.
Have you ever actually got audio on trunk to trunk without voicemail pro? That is our current workaround that we are trying to get rid of since it is not a true call forward but an answer and transfer by voicemail. And also we have some customers that don't want to buy vm pro right away.
So here is the scenario to test and call to a number on the SIP trunks that is forwarded external.
IE my scenario 605718XXXX Rings to extn 402 forwarded to 605787XXXX.
I have tried SIP trunks direct to my WAN port and also now the current config is from LAN to Ingate Siparator which fixed this problem on our Mitel systems.
LAN 1: 192.168.100.45
Line
ITSP: 24.96.139.164
Use Network Topology: None
IP Route: 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.100.254
So Essentially ...
IP Office --> HP 2626 --> Ingate Siparator --> ITSP
192.168.100.45 --> 192.168.100.245 --> 192.168.100.13 --> 24.96.139.164
I did not use or need a Siparator. I have set up SIP trunks with 5 carriers and never used a siparator. try taking it out of the equation. If you need more help we can talk off line... where are u?
Yeah and my carrier likes to see 10 digits so I am sending 9605787XXXX. I will try this morning back direct to the controller instead of the ingate proxy but I know we had the same problems there before. I am in South Dakota by the way.
So I have tested the direct connection again but I am still not getting any audio on the forward. I can see the system is in RTP Relay and see the H323 event but nothing is heard. A minute into the call it is ended. I would be interested in seeing a working config. Compared to most carriers we have a private fiber connection instead of over the internet.
So after a minute the connection is dropped ?
You definitely have a routing problem !

I believe the dropping of the call is the ITSP killing the inactive calls as I think it is keeping it in RECV state. Looking at the H323 event it appears there is two calls/legs one that is doing RTP to 49152 and the other to 49156.
