Call Forward Question

Hello everybody, I need to forward all the dn's to another extension but for any reason the forward only works on key O and 1 and 9 but it doesn't work on the third line. Can somebody help me with this.

it forwards key 0 and it's not marped on that set? a key that does not appear on key 0 or have an analog tn should never forward... a set does not usually control more then one number... if you add key 2 to another set as key 0, it should then follow the forward on the marped set...

it is strange BUT, this is a pbx, software code does not lend itself to key style key layout...

Is the number on key 2 (x1890) programmed on another port in your switch??

Hi BKMesser I had the x1890 in another M2616 phone. I delete the extension in the that phone and its working now. But there is any way to keep that extension alive??

I am going back a bit, but I thought marp was not what controlled forwarding on a number that is programmed on more then one phone. It should be, but there was some trick you had to do also.

It had something to do with where the tn was in the list when you print the dn...Does anyone remember this.

I fought with it and never really figured it out.

Where the TN is on the list only counts if MARP is turned OFF. Then it is the last one to have been changed.

Thank you for your help. I will have to delete the x1890 in the other TN.

It's much better to turn MARP on and not have to worry about makin a change on a phone because it can become a nightmare as you have to go back and do an update on the phone you want to be the controlling phone.
