Hi!

Hoping everyone is SAFE, Stay indoors!

Due to the pandemic, our office is looking into call forwarding calls to an outside line, our system is a NEAX2000IPS with DTerm8, 16 and analog phone.

We're planning on using the basic call forwarding feature, is there any way to remotely do this thru phone? Also, our worry is, we have security personel on site, what if the digits are limited to 3 or 4? anyway to extend? e.g. 9 + directline.

Do I still need matworx?

Thanks and again Be SAFE!

The only way to do this remotely is to have remote access to the system using MatWorX.
As for setting call forwarding, again using MatWorX, CMD E600 = CF all.

Hi Belevedere,

Thank you again for this info.... after a while we got the remote working and successfully initiated the features on some extensions.

Unfortunately, our E1/R2 is acting up as we hear 'does not exist' on the pilot# but after nth tries, the auto-attendant answers, sometimes after 1,3,7 or none attempts.

We're requested logs from the Central office, I've attached it and verbally, the calls aren't getting through the other channels. Our system is still the NEAX2000IPS.

Any thoughts on this?

Again thank you and BE SAFE!
Ruel

Sounds like an issue with your carrier. If it works at all, then the system programming is correct. You may have some channels down or defective. Multiple tries finally reaches a channel that is working.

Anyway to check the channels if active, idle?

Yes it takes several tries then connect..as attached, carrier advised that call is not reaching the channel(s)

Thanks again!

Set up a direct trunk access code in CMD 200. Dial the code followed by the trunk number assigned in CMD 3019,if working you should hear dial tone and be able to dial out.
200>**>A081, ex: 200>**>A081
3019>TK #>ID, ex: 3019>100>1000
Dial ** + 1000
