One solved (I hope) another rears it's ugly head. I have telecommuter and the users are allowed to call forward off net. This works for all calls except the ones that come from remote sites using QSig. The far end receives a busy signal and then re-dials. The second call goes directly to Voicemail. If the remote calls via the PSTN the calls are completed with out a problem.

Again Has anyone heard of this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Here is a sample of one of many traces.

11:56:36 idle station 86005 cid 0xdc2
11:56:38 Calling party trunk-group 7 member 28 cid 0xdcc
11:56:38 Calling Number & Name 21853 Network Ops
11:56:38 call-forwarding 86005
11:56:38 term station 86005 cid 0xdcc
11:56:38 idle trunk-group 7 member 28 cid 0xdcc
11:56:42 Calling party trunk-group 7 member 16 cid 0xdd1
11:56:42 Calling Number & Name 21853 Network Ops
11:56:42 dial 86005
time data
11:56:42 ring station 86005 cid 0xdd1
11:56:43 active station 82426 cid 0xdd1
11:56:47 active station 82426 cid 0xdd1
11:56:49 idle trunk-group 7 member 16 cid 0xdd1
The 82426 is a voice mail extension

There are two calls here the 11:56:38 is the first call that the originator receives a busy signal. The 11:56:42 is the call back that gets VM right away.

Thanks in advance

On the station form that is being forwarded off-site, what is the "Coverage After Forwarding?" field stroked to? Is this only affecting Q-Sig calls or does it happen on station-to-station calls as well for this extension?

Thanks for the quick replies.
Call Forward Override? n
Coverage After Forwarding? y

The answer to the second question is yes just the QSig trunks are not working on Call forward only. All else works station to station PSTN to station as well as remote call coverage.

Thanks

Does the COR for the Q-Sig trunk allow for the COR for the DID/DOD trunks to be called (starting on page 3 of the COR form)and vice-versa?

Thats the first thing I checked. The COR to COR pages are all Y's. I have been assigned a Tier 3 Engineer and he's looking around. The first conf call took about 1 hour. Will post back details as they become available.

All help is gladly received

Hi

What's your setting for Trunk-to-Trunk Transfer: in system features. Meanwhile, pls check config of Disconnect Supervision - In? y Out? y on page 1 of trunk setting.

Trunk to Trunk is set to all The disconnect supervision in and out are stroked to Y. Teir3 has suggested I need a green feature (SA8440) - Unmodified QSIG Reroute Number. The discussions have begun and the fingers are pointing. Detail to follow.

Thanks

UPDATE Problem solved. Tier 3 loaded the special feature as a test and the calls still crashed. In my poking around I changed QSIG VALU Coverage Overrides QSIG Diversion with Rerouting? to a Y. Problem Solved.

Thanks for all the help
