call forward no answer limit

Hi,

I have a group of 4 M3904 phones that I would like to set up in a circular fashion. The hunt and fdn fields point to the next phone in the group. HTA FNA and SFA are all programmed in the class of service. When I call one extension it call forward no answers to the next and the same happens for the next phone. For some reason it just keeps ringing on the third phone, thus not going to the forth phone. Id there a limit to the number of time a call can call forward no answer?

HUNT GROUP
To create Hunt Groups you need to use LD18 to store the extensions in the Group Hunt List and LD57, which assigns the Pilot DN to the Group Hunt List.

DNSZ (Directory Number Size)
SIZE (Size of list, How many entries)
STOR 00 XXXX (XXXX = Directory Number)
WRT (C/R)

Continue with store entries until list completed.

fyi - Forward is good for 3 hops, Hunt is good for 31

So if no one is at the 4 phones then it will keep ringing on the 3rd one? Will a group hunt setup be the solution for me? Thanks

For 4 phones, I'd just give each phone all 4 numbers.

I agree with GHROUT - hunt groups makes everything more complicated.
