call forward key on a digital set

if I have no room to put a call forward key on a digital set is there any other way I can call forward the phone? The NTP says analog sets can use SPRE 74 so I just want to make sure there's no way I can do this on a digital set. I don't think FFC will work either. Thank you for your help.

Meridian sets have to have a CFW key, ie cant use FFC or SPRE

you know you can use a fdn to forward no answer without a key. program change. or use an add on module

One of my users wanted to be able to manually call forward his phone and had no room for a key. I didn't think it could be done but wanted to double-check with the tek-tips experts. Thanks wdhb and johnpoole

Ermmmmm Just my 2p worth , but how about Meridian 3901 digital sets ??
No CFW key to program just the FX which accesses a feature code ????

what does FX mean? Doesn't the M3901 have a default key that can only be used for CFW anyway?

No
User has 3901 set (No programmable keys like 3820 / 3904 etc) instead uses the Features Key

CALL FORWARD

To divert all your calls to another phone
1. Without lifting the handset, press the FEATURES KEY plus the Dial Pad Digit shown for CALL FORWARD. The light will flash.
2. Dial the number you want to forward your calls to.
3. Press the FEATURES KEY plus the Dial Pad Digit shown for CALL FORWARD

This usses flex feature codes as far as I know !!!
These can be accessed solely by keystrokes aswell

yes, but I was really looking to find out if I could call forward the phone without a physical key. It seems I cannot. thanks to all for your help.
