Dear all,

I have Cs1000 5.5, and each time I do internal forward calls, the calls are forwarding to the operator, can any one help me.

Thanks

do internal forward calls" isn't a feature. Can you tell us what feature you are talking about - using the real Nortel feature names?

I am doing through LD 10
CHG
500
FTC CFW 4 xxxx

where the xxxx is the internal number I wish to forward to

I am guessing the number you are forwarding to is not a normal DN, or the DN is pointed to an external number, and your TN does not have CFXA. Add CLS CFXA and see if that fixes it.

Is this call forward problem system wide or just one phone? If it is system wide you possibly need to look at LD 15 in the customer data block under RDR data (Call Redirection) as to how it is set up.

Should look as this :

YPE RDR_DATA
CUST 00
OPT CFF CFRA DSTD PVCD CWRD MCI
FNAD FDN
FNAT FDN
FNAL FDN

Dears,

I have checked them and they are as you have said, so what could be the problem?

what does the number your forwarding to belomg to?
Live Phone, ACD DN, Phantom DN......

It is a DN, its type is 500, also and it is his neighbor phone DN.

Can you post a print out of TNB of the phone you are trying to forward and the phone you are trying to forward to.

... You can't activate a call forward on an analog phone by entering the DN after the CFW x... You need to use the feature code (Look it up in LD 57). That only works for phantom DN's and then it's the DCFW and not the CFW.

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed... Oh wait, he does...

True - "FTR CFW 4 xxxx" does not work. You cannot enter the CFW number in programming. You must go to the phone and do #-1-xxxx

Step 1: FTR CFW 4
Step 2 - go to the phone and Forward it

Nobody has asked, but I bet you are really trying to FDN (Ring no answer) to the neighbor.

CLS FNA
FTR FDN xxxx
