Trying to forward a phone that has two hunt groups on it. When I forward the phone the hunt groups do not forward. When they leave at night they want to forward all the phones to a different station. The station they are forwarding to is the overflow for the two hunt groups. But it takes like 6 rings to get there, they would like a shorter delay at night. Any ideas??

HG Q Time out, change to 15 secs (3 rings).
HG's do not follow the CFNA settings etc on the phone, they are ignored by design.

As curlycord mentionned, Hunt Groups do not follow Call Forward rules. That is why the Hunt Group calls ring the members 5 times (30 seconds) before being routed to the overflow set.

An hunt group call can be immediately routed to the overflow set. It happens when the two following conditions are met:
[ul]
[li]The Hunt Group is set to overflow when it is busy.[/li]
[li]The Do Not Disturb (DND) feature is turned on on all the members.[/li]
[/ul]

Depending on the type of calls that the hunt groups need to handle, a Ringing Service might be what you are looking for. It would work well for incoming calls on a target line, but it would be useless for calls transferred by an Automated Attendant.
