I have a 2008 phone with 2 DIDs 5672 and 5635. If 5672 is busy and someone else calls 5672 then the call is rolled over to 5635. How can I stop this? If 5672 is busy then I need the next call to go to voice mail. I need the same thing to happen on 5635 also.

Check your LHK setting, presuming K0 = 5672 & K1 = 5635 change LHK to 0 and you should be all set.

If the presumption is wrong, post a copy of the TNB of the set and we can gor from there.

The LHK was set to 1. I changed it to 0. It stopped the rolling over from 5672 to 5635 but now the 5635 DN (when busy) will not go to voice mail.

Do a change hunt (voicemail #). Is 5635 marped to this phone? 5635 will follow the programming of the phone it's marped too.

One workaround for that problem is to build a phantom 500 set with 5635 as the dn and change MARP to YES when you build it. Make HUNT and FDN the extention for voicemail and make the class of service HTA and FNA. When this is done, the dn should follow the programming of the 500 set, whether or not MARP is activated.

The hunt is already set to voice mail number. Here is the TNB PRT

H,

Chg the CLS to FBD.

F,

Remember a phantom DN can NOT appear anywhere else than the phantom TN.

I didn't mean a phantom. What I meant was to build a 500 set on an non existant card as if the card was there. The only down side is it uses up a software TN. If you have a lot of spare TN's in the software, that should work fine. Sorry to mislead.

Almost.... I changed the CLS FBA to FBD. The 5672 DN is working correctly but the 5635 DN will not go to voice mail if 5635 is busy. What have I missed?

My previous message was incorrect. I meant to say DID's instead of DN. 5672 and 5635 are DID's.

What Rls. of software?

Try F's suggestion and be sure to marp DN to 500 port.

Software Release
Version 2111 Rel. 25

and no 5635 does not appear on any other.

When I dial 5635 from 5635, shouldn't I get a message or voice mail? I will out the phone and enter it fresh, however I am not too good at programming phones.

I have resolved the problem - thanks to your suggestions. I have to build a 500 set with the 5635 number and the 500 hunts to the voice mail. Works fine now.
