I have an Auto Attendant answer after you dial my main number. When you press 2 it rings my ext. 77336 and then forwards out the system to my local cellphone. Problem is you can't hear the caller and they can't hear you. When you call my ext. 77336 directly it rings and then forwards to my local cell phone and works correctly. And of course the cell phone works when directly called.

When the AA answers and you press 2 all the caller hears is silence. However it does ring the cell phone. But no one can hear each other.

Any ideas on this one?

What is the topology and platform details , is this ec500 or a forward?

can you run a list trace on the station and look to see if there is anything obvious , also a status station report when the call is active will give more information on connected ports and speech elements, post the results if unsure.

Sorry I left it out. Its on a Avaya CMM and it's 6.2. And just a basic call forward set from the phone. I will do a list trace and report my findings.

Completed the trace of the call. Shows the call coming in on the AA and the trunk for the AA. Then the call is transferred out the cell phone gets the ring and can answer. There is no audio or transmit for caller or receiver.
