i know you can forward a 500 using #1. and you can make a phantom loop and program it to call forward. can you forward a 500 just through programming? or do you have to do it on an actual phone? we have a remote site and they need a 500 fax forwarded to another line.

You can use a DISA trunk if you have one, to CFW a local with an access code. There is no way to program a call forward for a phone remotely.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

i figured so. i just got the guy over there to plug in an analog phone and forward the line. just seems like this is should be simple to do in programming. i mean you can make almost any other change. i guess nothing beats boots on the ground (as it should be)

go to ld 20
chg (tn number of station you have to put fwd)
ftr fdn (trunk access more telephone number you want to forwarded)
example: ftr fdn 908094508127

GHTROUT is right on that remote call forward can be used from any set INTERNALLY. To CFW from OUTSIDE the PBX you need to use a DISA trunk. The change discribed by Juanga is changing the FDN (Forward no answer) not Call Forward All Calls. Thanks
