Hi,

(3300 Mxe & 4 x 5550 ip consoles)

Would anyone be able to assist with the following?;
4 x consoles (2 groups of 2) want the first set of 2 phones to ring on incoming calls for a maximum of 3 rings, if unanswered then transfer to the 2nd set of consoles for a further 3 rings, if still unanswered all four consoles to ring till answered or routed to AA message.

Would not the call processing be part of the servers or whatever is handling the call distribution?

The console is just the recipient of the calls not the controller.

Thanks...yup the 3300 ICP would be handling the call processing/distribution.

My query is how to program the call flow for the above. I know you can set a call overflow and/or reroute calls if unanswered within a specified timeframe, however how do you program the controller to make the 2nd answer point (console) redirect back to the first console if that too is unanswered;

incoming call......3 rings on 1st console....(redirect to 2nd console if unanswered).....3 rings on 2nd console...If still unanswered then both consoles ring untill answered.

Is this not covered in the Mitel documentation?

I see a lot of interesting stuff on Google when searching "Mitel 3300 ICP".

You would use the call rerouting form if memory serves me right.There is a 1st and 2nd call rerouting entry and so on.
The Mitel forum on tek-tips might be a better place for this thread. A lot of knowledge about MITEL and they would walk you through in more detail than me.

You can achieve this by creating att soft keys and then using the call rerout assignment.
