How can I enable the call display on a terminal that is not automatically displaying Caller ID when the line is ringing?

Can't find the info in the manual!

What type of system do you have. Do you have C.I. cards. Is caller I.D. info being sent from C.O.
 
I'm a total newbie.

We have a Norstar CICS and 3 M7310. There is only 2 lines in this system. No CallPilot, no anything. Everything is working fine with both original M7310.

I recently added a 3rd M7310. It's working fine except for the Automatic Call Display (can't see who is calling when its ringing). When we answer with that 3rd terminal, the Caller infos are displayed, but not when it's ringing.

Do you need more infos? I can't check what you need.

Lower version software allowed only one set to get auto call log info, rest of sets you need to program a F811 button, user is to press the button to view the call but only if allowed in programming.


 
Well if that's the problem, how come Terminals #21 and #22 are able to see Call info and not #23?
 
The older 6x16 & 8x24's you could only auto info CLID to one ext. and press feat 811 but I believe on a CICS it works on all sets like around 4.1 or 4.2 way before MICS but anyway you said that the caller id is working on your phones its just not working on the newly installed line 3. on one ext. correct.

CALLER ID SET IS Y. YOU WANT ALL 3 LINES WITH CALLER ID SET TO Y,ON ALL PHONES ALSO MAKE SURE CALLER ID IS TURNED ON FROM YOUR LEC/PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER.

LET ME KNOW IF THAT HELPED FOR YOU CAUSE I DON'T HAVE A CICS IN FRONT OF ME BUT IT'S NOT TO HARD TO FIGURE OUT.
