Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is an easy method to obtain a list of extensions that are currently on a call from within the PBX? Also is it possible to disconnect calls while one is in progress? If so how would I go about accomplishing this?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Sorry for not including this in my original posting. The NEC 2000 and NEC 2400 are the system types.

Thanks!

Right so both small and large!

I am not aware of an easy way to list up all stations on a call at any given time but on the large system you can terminate a call with RLST and on the small system command EB2 for stations or EB0 for trunks.

Hi OzzieGeorge,

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if it would be possible to disable an individual phone within both these systems? That would work for me just as well...

Thanks!

On the 2400 you can use DCON to display the connection of a station or also by trunk. You can also use MBST to busy the station or MBTK to busy a trunk.

On the 2000 (don't know your software rev level) but see the following:

You can use CMD E400 and E401 to display the status of the phone. (Must have sofware ver 3700 R12.2 for this command to work). If you have a command manual look in there to see what the 8 digits it display's mean.

You can use CMD E50 to check the status of a station by doing CMD E50>XXXX (ext. number) DE and if the data is a 1 the phone is in service and a 0 is make busy. If the phone is in make busy it can not recieve calls but can still make calls.

CMD E51 is to check trunk status. It works just like above. CMD E51>trunk number 000 thru 255 DE and again if the data is a 1 it's in service and if a 0 it's make busy. If the trunk is set to make busy outside calls are restricted but incoming calls are not.

Really the best way to disable a phone on both systems is to simply peg it out at the TPF.
