Call Detail missing on certain phones

hi all, i used to know this, but am swamped at the moment. does anyone know why most phones in one of our sites show call detail but a specific few do not?

my co-worker checked routes, all are set to Yes for CDR.

haven't checked CDR_Data nor the set itself.

again, i'm working on a problem right now and can't even get away from the phone. can someone give me a little input as to if it's a CLS prompt or other?

Internal CDR Records" are turned on with CLS ICDA

But external records are all controlled by the trunk route that the call is placed over.

--In most systems, CDR uses the stations Prime DN as the DN or record for the call, regardless of what KEY is used to place the call.

--For ACD phones, the Position ID (the number after the ACD queue number) is the DN that the calls appear to be placed to/from for calls on any KEY of that phone.

Those two facts are often the issue when you are looking for call records for a specific phone. i.e. The call records are there, just booked to a different number than was expected.

Another thing to look at is the Call Accounting software itself. Could these be phones that were added to the switch but not added in the accounting software. I know one of my sites the accounting package has an auto learn mode for extensions. I just have to go in and add the names and put it in the right department.

If there is a Call Accounting system, You will definitely want to make sure that those stations are listed there. If they are not listed the machine will not recognize what the Pbx is generating.
