I am new to Cinphony.

I have an old MICS, with 20 lines and 48 exts.

I have an application module with a ACD with 16 ports

The system is crashing or the calls are not getting through,

Average call volume in/out is 1200 calls per day.

Is this the end od this units life at this volume

Can a Call Pilot 150 with 20 seats take it's place.

Any other suggestios?
 
look at symposiumn lite for that app, call pilot replaces merridian mail, not an acd function

Symposium is a Meridian only application. The callpilot 150 CallCenter application is a very good small system callcenter app. You mentioned you had 48 phones. You will need an agent seat for every active agent( ie each agent logged on at a given time) . You could also need to upgrade the software level of your mics. If you need a quote let me know

that's a new one on me, sorry for the misleading info. symnposium is a nortel only product, but this is a nortel forum

This is Cinphony from Cintech. They used to be the exclusive ACD for Nortel.

I am having problems with 10 agents..dropping calls ans system crashing


In the Choice Of Application menu, I have found
NrstrVM voice channel settings (they look OK - MIN4, MAX8)
ACD VOICE voice channel settings (they look OK - MIN4, MAX8), and ACD FEAT voice channel settings.

The last one looks strange to me - MAX 65535.

Now, if you read page 140 of the application manual,
you'll find that the maximum # of channels cannot be greater than the max # of Channels allowed for an application.

A few years ago this was the only ACD they sold...so I assume Nortel programmers might know of it...there are supposedly 20,00 units sold
