Hi all,

Does anyone have a link, or can explain to me what 'q-time'is, how it works?

And will/can it display an actual count of calls waiting in a given queue on an agents desk phone?

I sort of have any idea of what it does, but I'm trying to research it so I can learn how to set it up, and so far I can't find any remedial information on it.

When pressed it displays the number of calls waiting and the oldest call waiting time for the configured skill.
It also illuminates based on the 'Time Warning Threshold' field on the Hunt Group form of the skill.

If you look at the agents desk phone you will probably see a button like vu-display Fmt:1 ID:

The Fmt is the format of the vu-stats button.

So if you do display vustats-display-format 1 you will see how the display is made up.

obviously you can use change vustats-display-format 1 to edit it.

Code:
display vustats-display-format 1
                             VUSTATS DISPLAY FORMAT

Format Number: 1 Object Type: split
Next Format Number: none Update Interval: 30
 Data Field Character: $
  Number of Intervals:

   Format Description: SPLIT=$$ WAITING=$$$ OLDEST=$$$$$

Data Type Format Period Threshold RC
      1: split-number
      2: calls-waiting
      3: oldest-call-waiting m:ss

The Format Description is where you define the displayed text and field lengths.
The Data Type is the stat to show (one for each field)
The Format is dependent on the Data Type

Best way is to set up a new format on your own phone and have a play.

You can define a skill/hunt/vdn on the button or just leave blank to allow user to enter it.

Everyone seems to have a very short attention... etc.

Make sure this is measured internally as well - external (CMS) won't show.

or measured both if CMS and Vu-stats are required.

Yeah, but even on my CM6,3. the limit is 600 BCMS measured skills.
