Hi. Wondering if the 2000 IVS has capability to call back or ring back an originating extension number? i.e., ext.400 dials 400, get busy signal, hookflash, then dials call back code. This could be useful for troubleshooting analog lines, ringers, locate numbers. Or could another feature instead of call back be used to do this?
Thanks

Yes it can, the code is programmed in command 200. you will need to go through it and find what codes are set to either A002 & A003 or A004 & A005. The first two are call back set and call back cancel and the second two are trunk queueing/call back set & cancel. If you aren't shure how to look these up see the FAQ section for a guide.

Pressing the digit 2 while hearing the busy signal should set the call back. As long as 08>156 and 08>208 are set to 0.

Note on original post ext.# 400 dials 400, i.e., dials its own number. Call Back does work when calling another station and receiving busy signal. In my situation I want to dial my own number, and when I get busy signal, hookflash, activate Call Back, and when I hang up line should ring. Currently when attempting to do this I get rst" code. Could another feature be used to fool station to call back itself when I hang up?
