Call Appr on 6408D+ Phones

We have three call-appr buttons configured on each phone (6408D+). When the first two call-appr’s are in use, and a third call comes in it immediately goes to cover instead of ringing on the phone. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way to have all three call-appr ring to the phone without configuring more call-appr buttons?

On page 2 of the station form -

Restrict Last Appearance? N

That should be N if you want to allow calls to come in on the 3rd line.

There are things to consider though... Hold/Transfer/Conference could be impacted by that.

How is "Hold/Transfer/Conference" affected by changing "Restrict Last Appearance"?

Basically you could have all your call-appearances busy and not be able to transfer or conference anyone... The last appearance is usually reserved for those features.

Not a big deal to change it.

You could also add a 4th call appearance without losing the transfer functionailty.
