Can anyone guide me to information of Call Accounting packages, requirements, etc for a Magix system? I don't even know what is compatiable anymore. Thanks in advance.
 
eCAS lite, and eCAS by Veramark work well. They are server based, so anyone can log into them from their desktop, and print out reports. It all depends on what you want to do, as call accounting package options vary a great deal.

No. Nearly (nearly) every call accounting system is either selectable to the LAgend / Magix platform, or can be adapted to it. You can spend a lot of time researching all the optins, but the only real difference is in the bells and whistles, reporting formats, type of reports, and so forth.

Tapit makes a Tality, that I've had good luck with. It's cheaper than the Veramark and pretty similar.
 
You should try Call Accounting Mate from callaccounting.ws. It is completely web based, self contained, SQL database engine and job scheduler. Look at (they have an online demo).

Have any of you tried the Comm One product? It was brought to me and I have not had a chance to check it out.
 
I have tried various low cost products...pbx trafficator, comm one and call accounting mate. I favour Mate because of their excellent web based version that does not require any configuration. It has an embedded SQL database to boot. I think their price is around $350-$375.00. If you need something more robust, you need to look at something like Shadow from RSI. They throw everything but the kitchen sink into that product (

The customer is looking for a package that will show "Transferred Calls". Is there an accounting package that will track transferred calls?...or just the inbound/outbound calling. I haven't used too many of the call accounting softwares. Thanks in advance.
 
We use a package called TASKE Essential which is kind of like call accounting. We track all extensions in real-time so I can see what my employess are doing. It comes with a cradle-to-grave reporting application called Call Visualizer. This application has saved our lives! Not only will it track every call that comes into your organization but it will also track every call that was put on hold or transferred etc. It litterally tracks EVERYTHING for us!

If you have caller-id coming into the building it will show who your employees are talking to along with where your customers are calling you from. It's a great product and is a real nice fit for our Magix system and I'm sure any customer would be real happy with it's results.
