I have a dept. that wants to view how many calls a few extensions are making. They don't want to be specific with #'s dialed, but just really account how many calls are made or total time on the phone.

Can this be done without purchasing an Call Accounting software package?

Also, Can anyone give some feedback on Call Accounting packages that work well with Cisco CallManager.

Thanks

I have tried CDR, but it gives me nothing. Not sure if I understand it.
Im using CCM 3.3(3)(sra4)
I can login to CDR fine, but I cannot locate where to input the extension I want to view the history nor can get any individual info.
I definitely am going to have to mess with it a bit.

Thanks though for your input.

Are you logging into CDR as an administrator? you can only run these queries as an admin.

We use ISI call accounting package it makes it easier to view records CDR is buxsome to say the least....

Thanks for the input. CDR is a pain. I could not login as an administrator and I checked the Admin guide for the default and had no luck. I even called Cisco Tech Support & the tech had trouble with it. I gave up on the CDR, but will further check into another accounting package.

Thanks to all for your input

On a side note, if you are still running 3.3 you are going to want to consider upgrading.
