Hi there!
I have a problem with Notes 5.0.2:
Sometimes calendar entrys are not properly entered. This means, you cannot see them in the calendar view, but in the meetings view.
I have a program which reads the notes calendar via ole. Unfortunately, these "wrong" entrys seem to be valid calendar entrys to me. I have no clue how to decide if a calendar entry is "valid" (i.e. Notes itself would display it) or not.
Any ideas?

Regards

Matthias

If a calendar entry is not in the Calendar, that should mean that it is a meeting invitation that has not yet been accepted.
You need to find out which field is created when the meeting is accepted, and check for that field's existence in your code.

I'll check that out on Monday, be back to you then.

Pascal.

Pascal,
thanks for your answer.
In fact, the entrys are not invitations. They are wrong entrys created by the calendar owner (not wanted). A second, correct entry exists also (same subject, but correct start/enddate).

Regards

Matthias

Okay, so the question is : how do you determine the "correct" date ?
These manual entries, are they copy/paste docs, or did the user actually create them manually ?

You could forbid copy/paste in the Calendar and Meeting views. That should solve your problem, technically speaking.

Pascal.
