Calendar entry appearing in deleted items multiple times

Hi,

A user has a calendar entry that they have previously deleted appearing in their deleted items folder multiple times a day (sometimes at the rate of 1 time per minute!)(see screenshot for reference).

I have checked the calendar and the meeting is definitely no longer there.

What would be causing this and how can it be stopped?

Honest dumb question for you.

Does this happen on another computer with the same user setup in Outlook?

Have you tried remove/re-adding the user profile?

We have been experiencing a similar issue, in which blank calendar items are appearing in the deleted items. This happens any time the outlook application is launched and is happening to multiple users on multiple servers. We have been unable to find a solution to this problem.

Have come across this kind of thing a couple of times (not guaranteeing is the same of course), first question would be the same as glassca's have you removed/readded the mail account? Then would be does the user have a handheld of any type? We had a problem at one point where the syncing between handheld and machine went nuts and was creating over 4500 entries in the users deleted items every day. If neither of these are the case have you guys checked the dumpster area on the Exchange server for both deleted items and calendar?
