Hi! Can someone help please? I have set up Calendar Control 8.0 on my pc to select a date and transfer it to a combo box. This all works fine on my pc, but when other users open the same database, the combo box apperas as a normal field and the Calendar control doesn't appear.
(Running over a Windows 2000 network)
Thanks in anticipation!!!

Depending on the installed software on the other machines, the calendar control may not be present or may not be registered. That's one of the gotchas with using ActiveX controls in your apps. You'll need to copy the calendar control .ocx file to, and register it on, each machine running the DB. Post back if you don't know how to register an ActiveX control.

Thanks for the prompt reply Ken. I had seen the Register/Unregister buttons as I was investigating using the Calendar. I think I'm ok with setting it up on other pc's. If I have a problem - like Arnie said "I'll be ba
ck!!!"

Thanks again

Ian

Told you I'd be back!
Registered Mscal.ocx on other pc - but no difference. What also baffles me is that the Combo box still appears as a normal field. Can you explain how to register - in case I have missed something vital?

Thanks
Ian
