calendar appointments disappearing

I have a user who is managing a delegated calendar for her supervisor. She says that certain appointments are disappearing from both her calendar and his. She is using Lotus 6 client, and he is using Lotus 5.08. Could this be an issue, or is there something else I can check?

Hi,

The difference in versions should not be an issue as long as she used the R6 client to handle both mailboxes. (If she uses the R5.08 client to handle an R6 mailbox there could be an issue).

If you are sure that this person is not deleting the appointments in the "Inbox" folder (which causes them to be removed from the calendar also) then you should look at a common property of these appointments.
I mean: is there a pattern? Do the appointments that disappear have something in common or not? Or are they merely marked as "private"?

If you can find out the common property then you might find out the reason why this is happening. In the mean time I will have a look at Lotus to see if someone elso also reported this.

I found many more possibilities.
Some of them mention that when repeating entries are edited this can happen, and another example shows that when the regional settings from a user are different from the settings of the creator this might also happen.

I suggest you browse to

and there enter a search such as "calendar entries disappear". That will show you 46 hits with possibilities.
