I am fairly new to Crystal. I am trying to set up a report with a crosstab based on data from two different data sources. They cann't be linked. In Access I got around this by putting all the data I needed into one Union Query and performing all the necessary calculations using this data. The result was a nice crosstab report with calculations bases on both tables (ie: Count db1 + Count DB2 kind of thing.)

Is there a way of doing this in Crystal. It won't let me build a Union on two sets of data.

You can build a Union in CR.

Database->Show SQL Query

Add the statement UNION ALL at the end of the query.

Copy and paste the SQL prior to the UNION ALL after the UNION ALL.

Now change the table name to the table to Union.

Thanks

But you can't build a Union Query from two different Data sources in Crystal, which is what I need to do.
