Could someone help me figure out how to calculate the below formula without getting the #DIV/0! error:

=AVERAGE(D8,J8,P8,V8,AB8).. What is happening is at some points one of these cells may be empyt. I tried using the is Blank function, but that doesn't help.

For this week, D8 is null therefore causing the calculation not to work. How can I work around this issue by indicating that if one of the cells above is null then give me zero so the formula will always work?

Thanks!!

Thanks a bunch!!

You only get the DIV/0 error when averaging if none of the cells contain numbers. Even one cell containing a number is enough to cause the average function to work.

I reckon your numbers aren't numbers but are text.

... but if any cell used as data by the average function contains DIV/0 then the average function will return DIV/0, so if the cells you are averaging are themselves the results of a calculation, make sure that calculation cannot return DIV/0.

this may fix both issues

=AVERAGE(IFERROR(d8,0),IFERROR(j8,0)) etc.
