Does anyone know how I would go about creating a form that would allow me to dynamically add numbers in a form field.
For instance:
I have a field called total charges. I want to be able to enter =10+2+5 as an example. The field should then display 17. This is how the cells in Excel work. Is there any way to get the same type functionality in an Access form?

With a fair amount of coding with a subform to ask and then pass the seperate values into your "Total" field..........

Why not a data entry form with "X" amount of fields for your subtotals with can then be stored and placed in a "textbox" on your form to display the Grand Total.............a lot less hand-coding this way.......
