Hi There,

I need some help in calculating average after grouping some data.

04/05 Abe Smith A Inc 500
04/05 Abe Smith A Inc 500
04/06 Abe Smith B Inc 500

A standar average for Abe Smith should be (500+500+500)/3
But I want to consider the first two records as one because they were sold on the same day to the same customer. I need (500+500+500)/2 or (1000+500)/2.

Can somebody plase help?

Thanks, -sunil

Can you post which Cognos application you are using (and the version)?

soi la, soi carré

have a look to this thread401-1037014 , it will give you an idea.
Adding some groupings and a count as hidden entries to your report ....

Thanks for your replies.

I am using ReportStudio 1.1
Thread401-1037014 doesn't help.

Thanks, -sunil
