Calculating age in period

I'm hoping that someone here will help me with a formula needed for a report. Currently using CR8.5 & Oracle 8.

The criteria for the report states that only individuals who attained the age of 16 within a given period will be included within the report.

I can calculate age as of current date, but does anyone have an idea how to calculate age if the date is within a date period?

Use a selection rule as follows:

Dateadd("yyyy",16,{mytable.DOfB})>= {?paramStartdate}
AND Dateadd("yyyy",16,{mytable.DOfB})<= {?paramEnddate}
