Calculated control does not allow user to cut (Cntl + V)

Access 97: I have a calculated control on a form that does not allow the user to cut the data but it does allow the user to copy the data. Any clues?

The calculated controls are not updatable.

Oops, a typo on my part. I really was trying to use CNTL+X rather than CNTL+V and the CNTL+X is not an option for this field. Is there a property setting that will allow this control to be updatable?

Me.txtTextBox.ControlSource = ""

You can put these code into any sub program such comand button click, form load etc.
