Calculate time taken to generate a report

I'm looking for a method of calculating the time taken to generate a report in crystal 8.5. I have tried putting a formula for currentdatetime in the report header and in the footer then trying to subtract them. Results leave a lot to be desired. Does anyone know of a quick method of getting an accurate time taken for a report to generate?

Create two formulas; one just containing DataTime and one containing PrintTime.

Place DataTime in your report header, and PrintTime in your report footer.

Subtract the difference.
