calcing one cell in a range

Hi,

If I change one cell in a range, does anything such as a vlookup referencing that range become dirty? Judging by calc times of a sheet this looks to be the case. Can anyone confirm?

Not if Auto Calculate is on.

But with autocalc off this would be the case?

Check Change and Calculate worksheet's events and Application.CalculationState value, can be useful for testing what is going on with worksheet.

NOTHING calculates except the cell you are editing.
