Hi everyone, I have a HP Vectra computer running win98.
I had to replace the cache memory stick due to it causing the computer not booting.
My question is how can i tell that the new stick is working when I turn on the computer?
Thanks for any help

Open System Information, and it will list the amount of RAM that's being recognized.

Thanks but im looking for the L2 cache memory, not ram memory. I went to my computer properties and it said 64MB but no mentin of cache memory for the processor.

Thanks if any one knows solution.

Check the BIOS hardware screen during startup.

It should definitely display the amount within the BIOS itself. Usually, you have to hit F1, F2, DEL, or ESC to enter the BIOS at startup. ~cdogg
