Cabling for M2250 console

Hello - we are installing an M2250 console, running a 25 pair cable to the location. On the end of the 25 pair cable is it a 25 or 50 pin / female or male connector.

depending on the distance you may just need the 1st and 2nd pair, if you need to wire power, i seem to remember - 24 on the red blue pair and + 24 on the red orange pair, let me check my ntps tomorrow. i don't use power within 200 ft..i ususally use a 66e3 block (north supply,suttle) and have a cat 5 ran.

TN 1 and 2 for pairs 1 and 2 of 25 pair cable. PWR maybe needed for pairs 7 and 8. The tip and both power TNs to pair 7 and ring side of PWR TNs to Pair 8. Hope you aren't having to mess with the busy lamp field.

hey i got it right from memory, surprise myself....if it's a new 250, connect the 2 tn's up in the switchroom.. test from their then put it in
