Cabinet folder messages missing

I have a user who has all of the cabinet folders but the messages that were in them are gone. How can I get them back?

which version og grpwise?
has she deleted them?
is it a view issue or are they diffinately gone

if you have a restore area setup then the user or yourself can restored the deleted messages

if you dont have this setup then you would have to restore the postoffice off line and directly connect to it and pull the messages back for her (way to much hassle)

This is a groupwise 6.0 system. Her PC hard drive had to be reformated and everything reloaded. Since then the folders are there but her saved messages in the folders are missing. The current saved messages are being stored properly.
