I am working to locate an Orban Audicy Computer System in a separate room from its controllers (the board). Room A and Room B are separated by an 8-inch wall of stucco and I need to run two VGA cables (5-pin D-Sub Monitor Extension Cable), two circular mouse (6-pin Circular Mini DIN Connectors), and 8 XLR Connectors. Is there a special Utility Box to use for such an arrangement? Or, would it be advisable to cut all the cable in half (Room A) and attempt to re-join those cut cables on the other side ( Room B)? Any suggestions? My employer, she required that the job look good (no loose wires or bulging stucco patch piles. Help. Please.

Check this out separate cables that easily attach to prewired jacks. if they have the end connections you need, no re building cables.

I tried to remain child-like, all I achieved was childish.

Since you only need to go though a 8" wall I would get some 3' cables and cut the non-computer end off. Mount a metal utility box over the hole in the wall then poke all the cut cable ends through the wall and into the box. Prep the cut cable ends and solder them to panel (bulkhead) style connectors mounted to the utility box cover.

Mouser, Newark, Allied or similar electronics parts dealers should have the metal utility box and panel connectors.

I'd go ahead and add a USB run since the days of PS2 keyboard and mouse connections are limited.
