CA or LA buttons on softphone

Is it possible to put call appearance or line buttons on the softphone?

I know this isn't how it's supposed to work, I'm just trying to set it up on one softphone for monitoring purposes.

FWIW I have the IP Office Softphone 3.0. (Only one I could get working).
 
I never programmed any buttons in manager for the sofphone.

I don't see a way to set them up in manager, but in the softphone itself you can right click the "feature" buttons to edit.

There's a "custom" button option that allows for a feature code, button label, and feature. But I have no idea what to put in for the "feature code options".
 
That codes can be found in manager :)
Like pickup any is *30 by default.
You just program a button that dials *30

That much I know, but I don't know of a shortcode to make the actually CA's appear.
 
Softphone does not have buttons in the same way that ad Digital or IP phone does.

Call temperance keys are um-necessary anyway.
make sure the ICR for the user points at the softphone extn.

when the number is rung the softphone will ring & show who is calling



Computers are like Air conditioners:-
Both stop working when you open Windows
 
Not sure about the new versions, by PMPro IP would obey the programmed CA keys. That is if you only wanted to handle 1 call at a time, you removed teh 3rd CA key and then reserved last CA.

Not sure it helps though...
