Hi,
I'm testing C8 on my own personnal computer. I've installed Oracle 10g Express Edition and C8 server and deploy the "Content Store" of C8 in the SID = XE schema C8 without problem.
Now, I would like to connect to one schema samples data (gosl), which I imported in Oracle 10 G, with cognos connection but it doesn't work :
Here is my connection chain to oracle :
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=localhost)(PORT=1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=XE)))
I use the user_schema : gosl to connect.
The oracle service is running but I've got this message
"QE-DEF-0285 Échec de la connexion." which seems to be a SQLServer problem !
The following messages are : QE-DEF-0325, RQP-DEF-0068,UDA-SQL-0432, ....
Is there any idea

what do you mean you imported it in cognos connection? you created a data source connection in cognon connection. did you restore the database at all?

I've just imported data in oracle schema, but the creation of an oracle connection via SQL Net to this schema (congnos connection) doesn't work.
