Thats my error message upon startup from my windows xp mce machine...i havent been able to get any good information from any search engine (not even google) has anyone encountered this error? and if so how do i fix it?

What OS & browser are you running? Also, did you upgrade to Ad-Ware 2007? It may give you a false positive for infections. Also, have you kept Windows & all other AV/AS updated as well as running those apps. Do you do any type of maintenance on your OS? Hee you checked Event Viewer?

Sorry for asking more ?'s than offering solutions but more data is needed. [ponder]

A couple of comments on Google indicate that the file is something to do with the Dell printer. Do you have one of those?

"The other highlighted

HKLM\..\Run: [DLCFCATS] rundll32 C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\DLCFtime.dll ,_RunDLLEntry@16
is my Dell printer driver.

The DLCF device is probably a printer communication system, and I just installed the printer yesterday, so it was after the problems".

Error On Start Up

Not at all SirBlack i know i wasent very explicive. My OS is Windows XP MCE. my Browser? well i have Firefox, Opera, Safari for Windows, and of course IE. now i did recently install Ad-Aware 2007 which i preferred SE personal...and all my andi-spyware programs do indeed stay up to date. my avg antivirus is also up to date.

In response to you linney, yes i have seen that instance where it is some issues with a dell printer, but ive been having this printer hooked up, drivers installed for about eight months now and hasent given me any problems. But i have a program called C Cleaner, and it shows me my startup programs, and one of them seemed to be related to the error message i was getting upon startup.

Ill uninstall ad aware 07, and give it a reboot and keep everyone posted! thanks.

It is unlikely that Ad-Aware would create a Startup error message, unless perhaps it has removed something it ought not to have, in which case there will be a Restore function in Ad-Aware.

What happens if you stop the Startup item that refers to this message?
