My OPT61 currently requires a 712345 access code to get a long distance trunk, then I dial 9-1-areacode-number.

I'm looking to set up a single 2500 port/phone to bypass the need to dial the outgoing long distance access code?

I've tried TGAR = 0 or 1,

I have CLS=UNR

Where else can I look?

Thanks, from a newbie in telecom years anyway!

What is the NCOS set at? Increase your NCOS by 1 and test, 7 is the highest.

a single port? setup a HOT D to your ACOD of the route, pickup the phone, have Dialtone from the already dialed ACOD - enter your number and go...

Agree with jswainnortel. Your RLI is requiring long distance access codes based on the NCOS of the set you are dialing from. Hopefully the MFRL on your route list index is not set to 7...

Hi,

I set NCOS to 7 and it worked great!

Thanks for all your help, and patience with newbies!
